I live in an area with zero dressage. We have several instructors that come in the summer but it’s hard to get them to commit to come when it could be -30. So I am looking for options for instructors who teach virtual. I have a three year old, so would prefer someone with knowledge of competing youn...

My goals for May and June are to improve and ask for more collection and not do as much dressage :o I took my guy to an open schooling show 2 weeks ago and did crossrails (attempted might be a better word) and some rail classes. It did his brain so much good! He was much happier afterwards. This wee...

If a buyer asked me to take a horse off of the market so they could look at it I would expect to be paid a nonrefundable deposit, especially if there are other people wanting to look at it. Those other people could very likely find a different horse to purchase while waiting for you to come and then...

Re: Best Half Pad To Put Under the Saddle Pad
I would just get a piece of real sheepskin, that's sheared, and cut to shape and use that. But I'll be the dense one and ask why you need a half pad under the pad or what you're trying to accomplish with it? My horse is just happier that way. Sheepskin is much softer and disperses heat much better....

Do they make a half Pad that has no rolls? I know I can do a custom Mattes pad, but don't want to wait that long. Any other suggestions to reduce a lumpy look? My current half Pad has a back roll and that looks really funny.

I have a saddle on trial, It doesn't fit exactly right but I am looking for opinions on if it will be able to be tweaked to fit. I know it's a little low in front. The back floats off his back by about 1/4", it isn't much but I worry about the panel configuration. Any thoughts?
