Does anyone know what became of On Course? I used to love their britches. They were reasonably priced and fit well - great for everyday barn wear.

I'm all caught up in Hilary Mantel's Wolf Hall trilogy. I'm on book 3, The Mirror and the Light. I wanted to finish it before watching Masterpiece's Wolf Hall, but I didn't wait. Also wanted to learn more about Thomas Cromwell, so am reading Thomas Cromwell: a Revolutionary Life.

If it is warm enough, we will get together with our kids' families if we can be outside. We did this for our annual Pumpkin Carving, and it worked out well. We did a temperature check before, wore masks, and were socially distanced (each family had their own table) outside. If the weather doesn't co...

Okay, so I usually arrive around 8:15/8:30 am. I can be tacked up/ready to ride by 9. I admit, I like to do things like clean the waterer, water bucket, fill hay. I also have an older horse that needs attention. I am usually home by 10:30 to squeeze into "my office" by 11.

I have a question for those of you with hour slots to see your horse - what can you possibly accomplish in an hour, except maybe a quick grooming, etc. It takes me a minimum of two hours to get in a quick, and I mean quick, ride - barely any grooming, etc. True, you get hands on, but isn't that abou...

Related to all this...why is it so hard to find a horse locally or, at least, a reasonable (2, 3 hour) drive? It's so depressing to drive to see a horse and not have it work out. I'm excited to go (heck, I wouldn't be going if I wasn't), and then there's the drive home

Hauling with a smaller vehicle is okay - until it's not. When things go south when you're hauling, you want to have some horsepower- no pun intended.
