Re: to the person who recommended
I use pellets that are kind of similar to the horse bedding. They work great, no odor, and my kittens like them....and they are cheap! I've tried the clumping kind, and I hate it.

Shavings yes, wraps generally not. I typically do use bell boots.

Re: Goals and Progress - December
We've been showing Intro B & C this summer, and Breeze has done well scoring in the mid-upper 60s. We rode thru Training 1 the other night, and it went better than I expected. We need to work on cantering thru the corners and coming down to a nice trot. After we canter, her trot gets a little qu...

Mine will come to me, but I am only about 10 minutes from where she normally teaches. I am generally her last lesson.

Octoberfest - Ky Horse Park
I took Breeze to Octoberfest at the Ky Horse Park last weekend, and we entered 2 dressage classes (Intro B and Intro C). They were percentage classes, and there were 12 riders in our first test. The tests ranged from Intro B thru 2nd Level 3. I felt we did pretty good, although I knew we had drifted...

Re: VHS--Looking for that Diamond in the Rough
Not sure if you are ok with a TB or not, but I work with a 501(c)(3) in Louisville, KY that rehomes retired OTTBs. We have several geldings/fillies just taken in from a rescue in Lexington where mares/colts were kept in one field and multiplied. We have a 2 yr old gelding, two 3 yr old geldings and ...

Re: Goals Thread...
Work more on our canter to the left. Our right lead is so much easier, so I need to force myself to canter left more. :) We've been cross training and doing some jumping. Did a schooling hunter show, and Breeze did really well. We're going to do another mini-trial in November, and there is a Dressa...

Mine charges pretty much a lesson fee, and she is generally at the show anyway with her own horses & other students.

Re: Compression Fractures/Kyphoplasty
Thanks for all the info. It was the hospital doctor that was reviewing the CT scan and found the fracture that mentioned Kyphoplasty. He had a neuro consult before they would let him leave the hospital last Thurs. They gave him a brace to wear and said no work for the time being. If he is out of bed...

Compression Fractures/Kyphoplasty
Hi, Does anyone have any experience w/ Compression Fractures and/or Kyphoplasty? My husband was in the hospital last week and during a CT of his abdomen, they noticed a compression fracture. He has no idea how it happened, but his back has been sore for the last few weeks. Currently in a back brace,...
