I'm having a heck of a time finding clarino full seat breeches for less than $200.00. I understand that silicone has become all the rage, but it seems the only choices are silicone or supergrip microfiber....I don't need or want that much grip. Anyone else having this issue?

Yes, I always have a standing appointment. In my experience, the farriers that don't secure a future appointment before they leave just don't have good business practices in general.

Have you tried Kiwi Parade gloss? I have not. Is it worth going to find in the next few days? If your boots are smooth grain, it should work well. I've never used it myself but know a lot of people that have. Just as with any boot polish, don't use it on the inner calf ;) I have seen it at Walmart ...

I am waffling on whether to buy an instant pot. Would I be able to get rid of my crockpot (or at least store it for parties and such where I need to keep something warm)? I've used it a ton this past year. The short rib recipe looks amazing! Would that work in a crockpot or would it just fall apart...

I justified the cost alone on how perfectly I can hard-boil farm fresh eggs while doing something else (I use A LOT of eggs). SO loves it for steaming and making mashed cauliflower. I can't say that it particularly saves time, but it's hands-off cooking, giving me time to clean the kitchen or do oth...

He needs to bring the heels back and shorten the toe. Has she always been on a 6 week schedule? Unfortunately this may need to be resolved through a shortened trim cycle or possibly shoeing. Any way you can have the other boarder that trailers out for the farrier take your horse, too?

I used regular, whole flax seed. I would by a 40lb bag from the feed store and store in a large plastic container made for dog food, so it was sealed. Maybe mention to them that while having the driveway plowed is an extra expense, an unplowed driveway is a tip off to burglars that no one is home and likely not to be home for a while. Well, in my case, I base my lesson fees off "30 min", so no, I would not take a full fee for 60 minutes with 20 mins worth of work. I keep it around the 30 minute mark (and expecting the client to warm up their horse prior to our start time) so that I have the option to go more or less and...

There is certainly some flaring left there, but without seeing the bottom of the foot, it's hard to say how much could be corrected with one appointment.
Did the farrier say he was trying to fix anything? If so, did he mention it may take a few cycles or that she needs to be on a shorter schedule?

Why was it cut short? Sometimes if the horse isn't completely conditioned to the work or introducing something new may tax the horse physically or mentally, there's good reason to cut it short.
