Thanks! I don't believe one of the clinics is going to be too much at all and in fact I was planning on taking Harley there anyway. It's a one day indoor trail course thing which I'm pretty sure will be just fine. The other is going to be a whole 'nother story but I have ridden with the clinician a ...

And what do you do with him? I have four, count them four, horses living at home. Dexter, the best minded OTTB evah, has an old track injury which has been bothering him on and off since I had him. Fatcat, must be an Arab thing. My old guy wants in at the first sign of rain, loves his fluffed up stall, naps like a champ. The others, as much as they like being out of the storms, don't particularly mind getting wet. Last night was hell. Wind went nuts and a number of trees went down, thankfully ...

Power has been going off and on all week. Generators are at the ready and so are emergency lamps. Winds are downright scary at times but of course we live on top of a tall hill so that doesn't help. The good news is that the house is really well insulated. So far, we have seen plenty of trees on the...

No doubt it is a lot of work. Clinician would be staying at my house which is about 15 minutes from the facility, so that is one less expense/headache. The facility is as lax as it gets but they are full so no room for overnight stays which could be a problem. There is another place not quite so clo...

DH and I were in the local Safeway and the high school girls soccer team swarmed the place after practice.
They were all sporting T-Shirts emblazoned with "The - town name - Beavers".
We didn't know if we wanted to laugh or cry. Clueless anyone?
