I'm finally at a weight I like, so my challenge is increased fitness and after the nasty bout I had with Covid in January, this is proving difficult.

Right now I can barely ride ask the horses in a day that I was at the end of last year.

I was happily able to ride my girls this afternoon, it warmed up to 20F . Mostly slow work but it was really nice. Both were a bit sluggish of the leg laterally but worked nicely into the outside rein and stretch over the topline.

Well today it hasn't got above single digit temps, so I don't ride. Riding is recreation not an essential so I don't ride in single digits.

I did sled down the hill which prompted most of the horses to self exercise. Lol.apparenrly humans laughing and sliding ar speed are reasons to run.

We are currently having a super cold week or two. January is always the most challenging month due to the cold.

I'm recovering thank you, although my lung inflammation hasn't completely cleared. I'm using the nebulizer but the cold air really sets off my asthma.

As for the horses, bringing them back into work as the weather and my strength allows.
