Re: Any Schleese Obrigado Owners here?
I had one. It had the outside blocks. I didn’t feel it fit small, took my usual size but I sold it becase I felt like I was in a chair position in it. I was always struggling with position in it. I know other people that love them. I’ve sat in two of them that felt different so make sure you get a t...

Re: Laminitis
I think it depends so much on the severity. My mare rotated but was comfortable in Easyboot clouds to support and cushion the sole. She also had shoes with dental impression material for a while. The shoes where not nailed since the hoof wall can be unstable. Since she was comfortable, she was able ...

Re: Article about not reducing forage to reduce weight
I really struggle with this. I have a chubby ulcer horse and try to keep hay in front of him most of the time. He does need to loose weight but has not gained more since having hay in front of him more. I recommend the Greedy Feeder hay net, large size has 1" holes and can fit a whole bale. I h...

Re: Pasture Rotation....feedback and insight please?
I have a very similar setup and found 2-3 week rotation allowed enough recovery time to the off pasture. I think it would depend on your location and weather conditions though. In the middle of summer, the pasture got pretty picked over and they lost interest.

This sounds exactly like my horse when he has ulcers. Mostly left lead. Scrambles at canter depart, no control but I was in an indoor so had walls. Treating for ulcers and th e symptom went away within a week.

One thing you could try is magnesium supplement. I like MagRestore and have had very good results helping a horse be more comfortable and relaxed. It's usually see results within a week of trying it. or, just remove the soy feed for a few weeks and give only alfalfa pellets and hay and see if there ...

I had the same surgery. It was. A quick and easy recovery. I think I was back to full blown barn chores and riding in 10 days. You may need to ease into eating fatty foods as your body adjusts to no gallbladder. I didn't have any problems with this and was back to eating eggs and bacon within a week...

Venice turpentine - keeping brush usable
Does anyone have a tip on keeping a brush that's been used in Venice turpentine usable/ soft? I went to use mine today and I have several rock hard brushes that are worthless. Re: Fireworks and Horses...how'd everyone do?
It's been a rough 3 days of it here. I live on a lake and people come here to escape and play. Not only do they shoot them off at night but they do the sonic boom type fireworks randomly throughout the day. My horses do ok but I can only imagine what goes through their head. It does make them spook ...

I like Horsetech products. High point is pretty good. If you get a hay analysis, you can get more precise with mineral balancing but Highpoint is a good place to start. Seems like I looked at DAC and did not want to use it for some reason.

I hung small hooks about 5 inches below my tack room ceiling and hung individual bits on them. This ran a few feet and was almost decorative. Might not work if you have lots of bits.

You can record a macro that copies steps you do manually. I'm not sure I understand what you are trying to do though. I'm proficient at this in word and not as good in excel but they are pretty similar. You might need to turn on the developer ribbon to get started if you don't see it. Once you have ...
