Re: Vermont towns to visit?
Let's see; there's the Morgan Horse museum previously linked; GMHA which amygdala mentioned which has something going on nearly every weekend; Denny Emerson is in VT for the summer at his Tamarack Hill Farm ; and there's the UVM Farm if you want to see lots of nice breeding stock. There are horses ...

Then you must visit Woodstock; it's just lovely and very near Quechee.
Some fantastic horsey stuff around there, too, especially if you're a Morgan fan.
And don't forget Ben & Jerry's!

They have this soup that comes in wax-paper cartons that is just divine. My favorite is the organic roasted red pepper and tomato soup, another fave is butternut squash, and there's one that corn and pepper too, I think. Whenever I go to TJs I stock up on these, they're great to take to the office ...

Re: Feed Room Sinks...yay or nay? Thoughts and feedback please?
Yes to the sink. YES YES YES I have one adjacent to my wash stall; it is used for washing dirty boots, brushes, bits, heavy and/or filthy things that don't (or shouldn't) go in the washing machine :o provides hot water for vet, farrier, tooth floater; sometimes used for making hot mashes and other ...

I think you should proceed just as you said, Moonshine. Keep it friendly but make it clear the course you wish to take: have Coach 2 teach butterfly (tough stroke to learn!) and reassure Coach 1 that you'll be back once DD's 'fly is solidified (if that's what you ultimately decide). Like chantal sa...

Re: Clinic organizing 101?
As someone who has organized clinics and shows for close to 20 years, my most important piece of advice is: after you ascertain what you are going to charge (taking into account all expenses), make sure that everyone who signs up pays up front. EVERYONE. No exceptions, no excuses. Otherwise you get...

Ditto on the Seresto collars; haven't seen a tick on my dogs all summer right through to the fall. They (supposedly) last 8 months so I'm trying to figure out when to buy them next year...

I wish she'd wear a helmet too but she's been riding for probably over 80 years (!) and I seriously doubt they'd put her on a pony that's any kind of a yahoo. I'm sure that pony is well schooled on a daily basis just in case Her Majesty feels like going out for a spin. I'm also sure that just out o...

Good gawd, I've been obsessing about grilled cheese lately and lo and behold, a whole thread about it.

I recently stumbled across this list and I want to make and eat every single combination! Make sure you have a napkin ready to catch the drool.

I did my best to delete all pics and personal threads from UDBB, what's left is what I don't care so much about if it gets into the wrong hands . yes, this was all a wake up call and why I don't participate much anymore. Wake up call? Among other things, what on earth do you expect someone to do wi...

Re: We've been adopted by an escaped domestic rat, sigh.....
an animal came to you for help. you let your dogs kill it. nice :x This is a little harsh, isn't it? She was trying to trap it to save its life. I once had a domestic rat given to me, it was safely caged and carefully tended. One day it decided to escape its wire cage....and didn't last an hour bef...

Air jets are the most sanitary, as no water or dampness remains in the supply lines or jet area, to grow mold and other yucky things

Re: bathroom remodelers?
If you really want a jetted tub, get one with air jets. They are quieter, cleaner, and you can add stuff to the water and it won't gum up the works. Some of them even come with chromatherapy
I've always like the Bain Ultra brand tubs.

Looking in the thesaurus, a couple of cute words related to 'Rosette' come up.
I like 'Twist', 'Bow' and 'Prize'.
And of course you could always call her 'Ribbon'

...a favicon for DDBB? I am so used to keeping my BBs tabbed, having a recognizable graphic would be much appreciated.
And, it would seem a little bit like home <sniff>.
PS - it seems after the initial whirlwind, traffic on UDBB ob Facebook has dropped off considerably.
