I haul with a Jeep Grand Cherokee, V8 with tow package. It is rated to tow 7200 lbs, has a 115 inch wheelbase and a curb weight of almost 5k lbs. The trailer is a 2H straight load aluminum Featherlite, 7 ft high, with an empty weight of 1800 lbs, which is about the same or less than most Brenderup t...

I do agree too exvet, $$ does buy an edge. Those higher dollar horses are much more likely to have some really quality, dressage specific, training in them. I don't begrudge it either, if I had tons of disposable income, it would be fabulous to be able to buy a made, highly trained horse to learn to...

Besides brains and trainability, I like a high set neck too. :) I personally don't mind a little bit of an upright pastern (think 50 degrees rather than 45). I think it sometimes correlates with the more open shoulder/elbow/forearm angle that give a horse more shoulder reach and freedom. I like seei...

For me, I would not say 'never be able to do or solve', it is more that some things are challenging and my progress seems slow as molasses. That 'thing' for me is sitting the extended trot (and some days just sitting regular trot). I can do it, but some days are better than others and I do not feel ...

I have a Cannon Vixia as well. It works great.
I believe what swayed me at the time I bought it was that it had better low-light capabilities (ie. indoor arenas) than competitors.
I'm sure there are other cameras now, but low-light function may be something to compare when looking at video cameras.
