So much going on...jingles to all that need them to get their critters sound. I had some lovely rides on Kyra before I went on vacation. She was surprisingly delightful from the get go. Normally we have to have a pretty good discussion regarding energy during warm-up. Usually, she needs more but the...

Well, Nar (Icelandic volcano) is still sleeping but kind of teasing us...something is going on with some magma movement but nothing visible for another 9 days. Yes, the Canary Island volcano is a beast. The lava ate a beautiful little church yesterday in Todoque. It took a short break this AM but ro...

No...and it kind of drives me crazy but I have put up with it for 13 years now . I try to text her at the 4 week mark and she comes within 1-2 weeks.
Kyra is BF. I can grab a rasp and take a couple mm off her heels and tidy up her toes so I can get her boots on so 5-6 weeks works fine.

I have never had a horse in full training or even lesson rides. I do not like to have every footfall directed. I do much better figuring it out by myself. I like to LY away from the rail about 5-10 meters then half pass back to the rail. Set up the proper bend for HP and the rail helps draw them over. It has a magnet in it after all .
