Re: Seriously?!?

Could you use a 16 1/2 medium wide passier? I think it's an old PSL -- 29.5 wide. It's brown and old and very reasonable ... and quite flat.

Re: Favorite way to flavor kambucha?

I love any citrus with ginger and soon I'll do strawberry rhubarb. I last used pink grapefruit juice and loved that too.

Re: Spin off from Jane Austen. Anyone else love Colette?

I love her non fiction/memoirs .. - especially Earthly Paradise -- one section she's living out in the country and writes about taking the pony out to wander -- the cart is the low type you can hop off and on as the pony is slowly moving. I'd love to see that build. There is also one novella with ho...

Re: Simple pleasures. The grilled cheese sandwich...

I ordered Comte cheese (and Cantal and Beaufort) from Fromages.com just for the ultimate grilled cheese. With the Comte I use chunks of spicy green olives scattered inside. I wasn't going to order this year because postage nearly doubled -- but then they sent me an email offering Comte at a sale pri...

Re: Do any of you make your own pizza dough?

I use the olive oil pizza dough recipe from the book Artisan Bread in 5 minuets a day -- it's a no knead dough (and I also use the 00 flour from Italy (via Amazon) it seems to be much more elastic ... and bakes on a pizza stone in 5-6 minutes @550 if it isn't too thick.
