Re: We're just chillin': November-December goals and progress
I had a similar experience driving my pony home from a schooling show a few months ago, driving my trailer through a mixed residential/business area going about 35 mph, and a woman, pulled out from a side street and tore the left front bumper off my trailer. She said "she didn't see me !" ...

Appreciate all these insightful tips. My pony is 4 so I'm not going to dwell on it too much , as I am also hoping it will disappear with increased strengthening. He definitely tilts towards the weaker hind leg.

This is a problem I am also having with my youngster. He tilts to the right when cantering left, with his nose. He is only 4 so I am hoping it will resolve as he gets stronger. Doesn't do it at the trot or walk. I try to hold a bit more on the right rein and ask for softness with the left rein, whic...

You can put one in that can be removed...thats what we have. There is a pin you pull out to remove near left rear tire, when I am hauling hay or whatever, I flip it upside down so no protrusions into truck bed. It work great. Just a thought.

Thank Y'all for your input. I borrowed a narrow eggbutt with a round bean in the middle, the arms had a narrow coating of rubber and a french link with a flat middle piece. Double jointed snaffles- opinions? thoughts?
I have a 6 yr old KWPN/ ADDH who has a mouth like iron. I ride him in a thinish eggbutt snaffle with a drop noseband and alternate with a twisted wire snaffle with a regular noseband, as he will take advantage in the smooth snaffle and ignore my aids. I have used a double jointed snaffle, one with a...

The winter makes me crazy watching my horses sit and lose fitness because of the weather . I know the break can be good for them, but it isn't for me. I bought this guy at 2 1/2 and he is very smart and athletic. Unfortunately he has no interest in working for a living, Anywhere from 10 minute to 30 minutes into a ride, he will say "I'm done" and try to turn around and go back towards the barn, stop flat in his tracks, or spin. I have st...

Interesting that this should come up because I have just started using one on my colt. He is very smart and has little interest in working. About 1/2 hour into any ride he starts trying to go back to the barn, and if being really a jerk, threatens to rear by hopping up in front. I have had him check...

13 yr 14.1 h welsh cross gelding, N. Nevada, New Price!
Marley has been in dressage training for the past several years and has scored 68% at 2nd level test 3. However, he hates it!
