Kitty issue
I have a feeling I know what is going on, but thought that I would check here for other ideas. Patient is a mature, spayed, female cat. Around 10. Symptoms are inappropriate peeing. Bald spot on tail head. The hair is not thin, it is completely gone. Area includes base of tail on both sides, and sta...

I'm happy to say I'm not an expert on this topic, but isn't the intent to render the animal unconscious rather than kill it? I believe they want the heart beating ...

Re: Dogs on the bed, yes it no?
No dogs on our bed when husband and I are in it. But, once one of us gets up to leave, the younger dog Will jump up. Double bed is barely big enough for the two of us, let alone two bigger dogs! The cat, on the other hand, likes to sleep on my hip. And if the ugly orange cat joins us, he will sleep ...

Winter paddock boots
My sorrels simply do not fit in my stirrups. But they do keep my feet toasty on the ground.
So, I need riding shoes. Insulated ones! Ones that will keep my toes somewhat warm at -15C. (Damm cold in Fahrenheit! )
Not too worried about looks, I am all about function over form!

Re: 2016 goals
My goal for this year is to simply ride. And drive. And to enable me to do that, my horses are coming home for the spring, summer, and part of the fall. They can go back to the farm for the winter, though I would rather have them home full time.

Haylege
Talk to me about haylage and horses. Not silage. Sweet smelling hay marshmallows.
