Hi all,
I'm new here (UK member) and wanted to introduce my 3 year old filly Lola who is hopefully going to be my dressage horse of the future. I love her to bits and she has the biggest personality you could ask for! She's Hanoverian by grand prix stallion Wanninger and out of a mare called Old Edition by Odysseous. She's standing about 15.3 at the moment, was hoping for 16.2 but who knows, will be happy with 16.1. I still think she has a lot of growing and maturing to do.
Looking forward to learning lots and reading all about dressage and seeing all your wonderful horses!
Hi all

Beautiful mare, welcome aboard! Are you riding her yet or letting her grow out some more?

Thank you. No not riding her yet, I think she looks and seems too immature, so we are just working on ground work for now and getting her used to as much as possible. I will re-assess at the end of the summer and consider backing and then turning away for winter, or may back her next Summer, I am not sure yet! Thanks for the replies.

Re: Hi all
Yeah, I wound up waiting on my youngster. Even as a 4yr old he grew so awkwardly that I really didn't do much with him under saddle until his growth spurts quit. Then he got injured right where the saddle goes so now he's coming 5 and still a green bean! Lucky for him, I'm in no hurry, just enjoying the journey.

Beautiful mare! You will have a lot of fun with her…love the first photo showing her personality!
