What a happy baby! I love to watch the foals frolic and learn to use those long legs. Cheers to you and yours, Silk

Oh Silk, those are wonderful pictures. Thank you for sharing!
Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
Sire and dam are both 16.1hh but we think she will eclipse them (gulp - I think I need to grow longer legs!). Her hocks are higher than her dam's knees!
She has her sire's refined face.
I decided to name her Confetti (Stiletto x Campion) but haven't worked out her 'paddock' name yet. Coco (as in Chanel, not cocoa) is closest to Confetti, but I'm not sure she's a Coco. I really like Lucia, but it doesn't relate to Confetti (though I started that, I named her dam Indy but chose Stiletto as her reg. name, as she is out of Stella and by Ramazotti... and came to me because of her high heels ).

Actually Chanel is a very pretty nickname. Sounds elegant.

That was the day I went to meet him. *swoon* indeed! He was a really cool character, cutie patootie pocket pony type of horse.
Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
Oh my, looking at those photos brings a smile. She's lovely!
Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
I DEFINITELY need to take more photos... She's growing like a weed

She looks smart! Love the last pic. What do you think her job will be??

She is super smart, and super bold. It's going to be a tough job for me not to overhandle her, as she's such a delight.
My horses are lifers... I bought her dam as a project horse to flick on... yeah, right - 6 years later she's still with me. My other mare has been with me 16 years. I mostly hack, farm ride, and enjoy jumping (non-competitively) and occasionally hunt in the winter. All things going to plan, junior is destined to be an all-rounder... I'd love it if she's got a bit of speed and oomph, rather than being a kick-along. We may enter the odd dressage arena if she enjoys that (I don't, as a rule, and neither does my older mare - I refuse to do things we don't enjoy!). Her sire show jumps to 1m25 - 4'1" or so - competes Level 5 dressage, and has 3-day evented to 1* level, IIRC.

If you want her, she's available... But there is the small problem of logistics. I am in NZ which is quite some distance from the States

Nice pictures. Thanks for sharing.
Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
I must post updated fluffball pics! She has got a really thick winter coat. 6 months old now, has worn a halter and regularly has her feet done but hasn't started any other handling/training/leading.
Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
Please do post more pics! I'd love to see her in her winter fuzzies and see how much she's grown.

Can you see today's updates via facies?
Confetti is 10 months old and *STILL* GROWING LIKE A WEED. MAKE IT STOP.

Re: Baby photos for your enjoyment
For reference, her butt is as tall as my older mare's... Scarlett is 15.2hh. Confetti is still lower at the wither, and smaller/daintier overall, but that butt has done a lot of shooting up in the past couple of months.

She has most certainly grown. Love them grooming each other

Holy moly, has she ever! I've been joking about needing a stepladder, but I think I need to revise that to one of those extendable ladders firefighters use.
I did the knee-coronet string test a few weeks ago, and while she was a little wiggly and unsure of what I was trying to achieve, the number was between 16.2 and 17.1. For my own sake I hope smaller but suspect she'll be 16.3-17hh. I could probably repeat that now she's had a bit more halter training and leg handling.
