USDF tests for purchase?
I know the tests are changing in the fall, but is there any downloadable source for Training levels tests? I don’t want to spend $20 on Whinny Widgets, and they are sold out anyway.

Re: USDF tests for purchase?
I found the USEF tests. Are they the same as the USDF?

Paula the only tests which are/ belong to USDF are the freestyles and intro, everything else is USEF ;Training level thru fourth

Re: USDF tests for purchase?
I have not heard a hard date for release, they go into effect December 1.
If I remember, in the past they were usually in October

It will be interesting to see them. So many people complain about 4-3 but I think it reminds me of the old 1984 PSG which contained the "Niggli Squiggly" which rode so beautifully when done well
Re: USDF tests for purchase?
I have heard from reliable sources that they will be available in October.......

Oh I can't wait to see them either!!!! I'm really hoping they come out soon!
That 4-3 test is bananas currently. Honestly if you can get through that you might as well show PSG. So, I hope that they change that one for the better so that it provides a better stepping stone to PSG.

Re: USDF tests for purchase?
Can I just ask a question? Why do people pay for the tests when they are available free on line? i realize I am clueless here.

Re: USDF tests for purchase?
I think people buy the books that have the tests in them with the diagrams (forget what they're called)? IDK, I just download the PDFs. I bought a cheap laminator and laminate the tests so I can keep them at the barn (and other exercises I print out)
Keep calm and canter on.

Some want a pocket sized book that is laminated (like Whinny Widgets), some want the test with diagrams showing each movement, etc.
I am also anxious to see the new tests - we have shows here in January, would be nice to get a look at them a couple of months before riding them
Re: USDF tests for purchase?
I like having all the tests in a spiral bound book. I have a laminator and do larger versions of the tests I show as a backup. I have friends showing various levels so I am guaranteed to have everyone's test if I have to read them
