Questions about how this forum/server is set up

Hello no complaints here about the forum. I have some questions though about how one goes about setting up a forum like this. My husband formed a Facebook group approximately three years ago and it has grown to over 3000 members. I would be more than happy to provide an email address to discuss this outside of the forum.
