Always on the lookout for new music, so I was wondering what you all are listening to these days.
I've recently become completely and utterly in love with Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. Slightly unreasonably so.
This was the... gateway song... that I heard on the radio, "S.O.B" https://youtu.be/1iAYhQsQhSY
Further awesomeness: https://youtu.be/TZagCklvj1E
And a bit more: https://youtu.be/AzqmVa6n-es
So what have your recent musical discoveries been?
What are you listening to these days?

Lately it's been the epic video game music played by the London Philharmonic. Volumes 1 and 2. I don't play the games, but I love the music!

Re: What are you listening to these days?
When I contributed to our local classical music station, which recently partnered with one of the NPR stations, I received a 54-disc set of recordings called "Decca Sound - The Analogue Years." Much of it is newer music, which I don't care for because the dissonance doesn't make musical sense to my ear. But last week I put in a disc with Mendelssohn's Sextet (piano, violin, two violas, cello, and double bass). I had not heard it before, and I think I've let that disc loop four times now. It's lively and rich and beautiful. There's also a Borodin piano quintet which is lovely, but the Mendelssohn really got my juices flowing.

I listen to a bit of everything, but never have a chance to find new music. Luckily, my fantastic SO takes the time to make me playlists. My three favorite songs on the most current playlist are The Mates of Soul by Taylor John Williams, Another Kind of Green from the John Mayer Trio, and New Love (the acoustic version) by Josh Heinrichs. The last one is my most favorite.
