He cracks me up. You can't hear it in the video but I was giggling when he grabbed the binder twine!

I know of one that was named Sir Prize.
Re: Our "OOPSY!" foal. New video bottom pg 1 (Apr 8/16)!
He is so adorable. I am seriously in love with your oopsy foal. Good thing I have barely enough money to pay expenses on my own two horses or I would be scheming up ways to buy him.

That is pretty ridiculously cute! What a punky little fellow. He's lucky to have you bring him up properly

What a brave and beautiful baby. Keep the pictures coming. This made my day.
Thank you.
Thank you.

Omg! Baby is so adorable!
I also have to say that you've described me to a T with this:
Who knew I was a drafty type?!

He's a cheeky little thing, isn't he? Are you positive he's not part goat?

No name yet. My friend who helped around foaling time is convinced that he should be called "Rowdy".
I'm not convinced, but also not entirely against it!

Ooh, I actually like "Rowdy". It does seem to fit, doesn't it. Looking forward to pics of Rowdy as he grows up.

In honor of the Boaty McBoatface debate, I think he should be named Oopsy McOopsface.

It looks like he has some high white socks? My goodness he's going to be a flashy boy!

oh my gosh - there is something about a palomino..........
Re: Our "OOPSY!" foal. 1 mo old - new vid (Apr. 18/16)!!
If Google is correct, Overraskelse is Norwegian for "surprise". His barn name could then be Kelsey. Or Rascal. Or Raskel.
Or Oopsyla
Or Oopsyla
Re: Our "OOPSY!" foal. 1 mo old - new vid (Apr. 18/16)!!
He's awesome!! What a wonderful spirit he has. Awwwwwwwww!
Re: Our "OOPSY!" foal. 1 mo old - new vid (Apr. 18/16)!!
I am liking him more and more
I fell in love with the delight that was my last horse, a QH of ranch type stock. This little peanut has that "look" I saw in Jays face and attitude.
He is a keeper , IMBO and is going to make a wonderful fun horse for someone

It's really hard to tell. I think if he has white on his legs - and I know for sure that he has a sock on the RH - it'll be more obvious after he loses his foal coat.

Here are some more pictures of "shortstuff" (still no name!!!).
And, further to that last picture, here he is literally enjoying breakfast in bed! He was not stuck, he was quite content there. LOL.

Finally, just cuz it's been awhile since I posted any dog pictures, here is my 8 yr old deaf great dane, Ocean, snuggled into her favorite armchair (I don't know how she finds that comfortable!).

^^^ 'cause it is soft
My mare is in a dry lot pen. I put a couple bags of stall pellets in there for a non splash pee spot. Well, as they fall apart and get soft, it is the best bed...says Susan who has a stinky horse. Doesn't matter how many spots I create, she doesn't get the concept that she should pee in one and lay down in the others .

Oh my, I just saw the tragic video of this cute boy so weak he is unable to stand and has to eat lying down. What a character!

It's become a chronic issue -- every day -- his mom has to eat around him now!

My new mantra - "I don't need another horse. I don't need another horse." Besides being so handsome, Oopsy seems like a special soul.
