Lovely!!!!
I didn't quite understand all the customs duty taxes stuff but I think we don't pay any of that from UK to Oz. So I may be tempted to get one also.. just soo much choice!

Can't wait to see them modeled your handsome boy.

Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
I think it looks classy
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
Very nice! And yes, classy. I like your taste.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
Suits him, beautiful!!
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
The pics are so small you can't enlarge them to see the details without them getting very blurry. They really are beautiful.
The first one, the black diamond and Montana blue one, is even prettier in the light than I imagined. The blue is just bright enough but not too bright.
The second one, clear/black diamond/jet black, is indeed very elegant and classy. I want to get a better picture of it, with more light. This was taken just at the start of my lesson today.
My trainer loved the second one when I showed it to her on Friday. Suggested we put it on his double. Then, today when she saw the blue one, she fell in love with it and declared it to be the best one for the double. So they both have her seal of approval - this from someone who generally likes natural stones and understated browbands better.
I could not be more pleased with my purchase.

Love them both, but the blue looks really good! I don't normally like coloured bling but love that on him

But more importantly, you got to spend time with your pony!

It's great to be home and to get to ride my wonderful horse. My dual life has its challenges but I am fortunate in many ways.
Fortunate that I can spend time on such frivolous topics as this, which I find quite entertaining!

Preeettttyyyyyy!!!!
I'll definitely have to get one for my guy now

Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
I like them both but I think I like the blue one better. The thing I like the most about both of them is that neither one is that saggy look that I can't stand.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
I like them both!!
I am an understated bling kind of person, but I think what *really* works is when there is low contrast between the blingy browband and the horse. Where your horse is grey, a solid crystal browband like these two looks super classy, where on a darker horse (to my eye) solid crystals look a little tacky.
So I love both of these!!

They both are slightly curved, as was his original one. But not saggy, true.

I agree - this is what I like as well.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
To everyone who prefers the blue one, I think we will save that one for shows, whether the snaffle or double. And I'll use the other one for everyday purposes.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
The only "concern" about the browbands is that there is a very square edge on the side that sits against his face. Rather than being rolled leather like I'm used to. He has worn the black and white one a couple of times now with no ill effects but my trainer wondered if we could soften the edge somehow.
I will try to get a picture showing what I mean.

Take it as I intended - be happy you got to see your horse! IIRC you are overseas for work so I am sure pony time is at a premium.

Gorgeous! Yes, I like the blue one on him when he's not braided, and the gray one is stunning when he's all gussied up.
Keep calm and canter on.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
I like it! really pretty. He is the perfect horse to have that kind of sparkle.

Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
Wow gorgeous pic! What a kind face he has. And noble too.
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
The blue browband made an appearance on his double this weekend. It looked great with my trainer's grey/blue shadbelly.
Excuse his expression, it was super humid and he had just worked very hard.

I agree that Capstone's horse should be a bridle model. Gorgeous! (and I usually don't like bling....but since I have a very white grey horse you've got me thinking about it!).

I have to admit that Cartier is the horse I covet most. He is simply stunning and seems to have such a good disposition.

Awww, that is so sweet. I only post the best pictures you know - he does have his goofy moments. As do I when I'm riding him!
Re: Opinions on browbands *update with pics on the horse*
Thank you all for your kind words about my boy. I just love him to bits, if you couldn't tell.
I think he could model blankets too.
Or Theraplates!
We have actually put him on a list - an animal models list. We'll see what happens!

Excellent!
BTW, when we use the phrase "blanket model" in our barn, it usually means "pretty, but not the brightest crayon in the box." I don't think that applies to your boy!

He can make anything look beautiful. Such a gorgeous horse! I'm not a bling person but I think your horse looks fab in both brow bands. And I like your bridle better overall when the flash isn't attached.
Thanks for sharing so many pictures, I loved looking at them all.

Glad you liked them - I love looking at them too.
The snaffle has the flash; the double doesn't.

He is SUCH a beautiful boy.
I am glad he has a momma that absolutely adores him.
