Car wax would probably work, too, and might be sitting in your basement already.

Don't your kitties "spin their wheels" when covering up their stuff?
Re: to the person who recommended
my cats balance on 3 legs and bury stuff with the 4th leg-- no sliding
and i bet car wax would work just fine

I won't use clay. I am fairly new to cats but I find wet, slimy sticky clay litter just yuck.
I use either clumping pine, walnut or corn and it doesn't stick to the box...no wax needed.
I have seen about waxing before and I am glad it is working well for you. I'm too lazy .

I've never heard of using wax. I use clumping clay litter and it's never been problem re: stickage. I scoop every day or every other day.

oh, and waxing the pan bottom just makes scooping a little easier

I use pellets that are kind of similar to the horse bedding. They work great, no odor, and my kittens like them....and they are cheap! I've tried the clumping kind, and I hate it.
