A Charlie Brown Christmas tonight

The best Christmas special ever (this is not up for debate) is on tonight, Monday November 30 at 8pm CST on ABC. This is the 50th year it's been on--it's almost as old as me!

I could not watch the CB special when I was kid because I always cried buckets for the poor the little tree, and I still tend to avoid it. Maybe I will try to watch it this year.

Watching the clock, going to skip the "pre-show" CB at 9pm Eastern time.

I managed to watch it without crying. It sums up the true Christmas spirit for me.

I have always found this one too tragic to watch; even the musical theme is so sad as to be unbearable.
Kudos to anyone brave enough to take away a good feeling from it.
