Shameless sharing baby pictures.
He has an album on Facebook, if you guys want to see more. https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set ... 60ddae1666 - you may have to be friends with me to see it, though!

<3 He's so cute (and so is dad with him )
I love "cranky" baby pictures... sometimes it's nice to see they aren't all bubbles and smiles and when they're cranky, much more emotion in their face!

Aww, those are super cute VLF!!
I don't know if everyone will be able to see these, but I believe they are set to public. I've just started editing stuff from Montana (got back Saturday night) and putting it there. I've made a few albums and I'm trying to add a bit to each every day. I don't have any good landscape stuff from there up yet as I haven't messed with the cards from my FX camera and that's where the goods are.

OMG!
But did you have fun???
Love the RF photos, esp the one refusal at the skinny... you can see the 'no, i don't think so' coming.
So envious of your Glacier photos and will be looking forward to those and the wildlife being added to as you process them. What, no pictures of cute little grizzlies or anything???

I had a great time! I'm already looking at buying a house near Whitefish in the future, seriously. I don't want to winter there, but I want to be there every other season...lol. The town is cute, but a little pretentious and artsy (like a mini Aspen), however; I loved the cabin and the area where it was (outside of Whitefish about 15 miles or so).
I actually do have pics of a grizzly. Caught him our last day in the park about 8:00pm in an open meadow. I also have more mountain goats and some big horn sheep and lots of stuff!!
We had been debating about heading back, it was literally a question of going left or right. Right was back to the car and home and left was just a tad bit further to the edge of the park. We pushed left, and came into a meadow where the sun was just beaming. My SO caught a reflection and said, I think there's something in the meadow. I looked, saw the reflection and literally said, "that's a mother effing grizzly bear (edited for language..lol)". I don't know how I knew with just that glint on the back of his coat, but I knew, instantly. It was one of the most amazing things ever.
I should probably mention that I also got engaged in Glacier. Actually, in the middle of Two Medicine Lake, in a kayak. lol Not a complete shock as we have been planning to get married for the last few years, but now I have the actual ring and stuff too. lol

Re: General photography related stuff thread
CONGRATULATIONS!!!
And it didn't happen with no photos (you know the rules)
At least we can confirm you did Glacier and RF
Sounds like a fantastic trip in more ways than one.
I know the feeling of falling in love with a place.
A few years ago spent a week in Crested Butte. Lots of sightseeing (Black Canyon of the Gunnison was the "excursion" highlight) plus photos of the Pro Cycling Challenge (CO bicycling race) which included, that year, Cadel Evans (that year's winner of the Tour de France). I was real estate shopping before we left. Ultimately, good thing I didn't buy anything but I get that strong urge and would still love to live in Crested Butte from about May to October

Actually no photos of the engagement. I know!!! We were in kayaks in the middle of the lake and I didn't take my cameras as I was afraid they would get wet, and they would have. I'll post a picture of the ring in a bit though.

Horrible photo taken with my phone at work. The center stone looks cloudy and it most definitely is not. I think the cloudy effect may be due to my recent lotion use..lol.

Very pretty! I am always attracted to sparkly diamonds in unusual settings

Rtr - congrats on getting officially engaged! And, your ring is gorgeous.
You know, your engagement is worthy of its own topic. Just saying...

Nah, I slipped it into my photo post, anything more would be unlike me. We've had plans of getting married for years and we aren't having a wedding. We are going to go away and get married, then quietly come back and have a party to invite and inform everyone. That's much more our style.

Re: General photography related stuff thread
I thought I would add some of my wildlife photos from Glacier over here too:
Alan! Alan! Alan! That's not Alan. Steve! Steve! Steve!
This photo makes me laugh hysterically for some reason
One of my very favorites

Love the chipmunk and the mountain goat coming over the top of that small ridge.
I love nature... sometimes it sure is being in the right place at the right time. The big horns, seem to me to be a tad underweight for this time of year?

Re: General photography related stuff thread
I'm throwing it out to a vote...should we start a new photography thread. I hate having to search for this one and then click "all the way" to page 9.

Re: General photography related stuff thread
I'm okay either way but leaning toward keeping all the general photography stuff in one thread so there is only 1 place to look albeit all 9 (or 10) pages

Hmm, I could go either way- new thread or not. I lean towards new thread because I often come to post something, then can't find the darn thread and end up not posting anything..lol.

I'm in the same boat. By the time I've found it, the phone rings or DH wants something, and I never get my thing posted.

Maybe the PF, due to lack of activity, gets replaced with a Photography forum??
One place to look but not a single thread with with billions of replies...
