Has anyone used these? There is a new/unused set on CL for a pretty good price, it sounds intriguing. Any experience out there?

Yes, I have one and use it. Makes wonderful roast chicken and braised beef. I think it would also be good for baking bread although I never have. It needs to be soaked in water before you use it.

they are amazing. Like Rock said, chicken turns out perfection and stews and casseroles are great. I never tried bread in mine. The one I have came with a recipe book that has an awesome eggplant tomato and sausage casserole that is to die for.

You for sure need a recipe book to go with it.

quick and easy. one small block of cream cheese. 1 garlic clove, some pepper, perhaps some herbs if you like. moosh the cream cheese into your spiced and form 2 balls. stuff one into each of 2 cornish game hens ( or one if you have a smaller pot) bake in pot. serve with nice crusty bread to spread the cream cheese on and to sop up the juices
