Equimax shortage?

We've finally had a good freeze, and I'd like to worm with Equimax for tapeworms, except I find it's backordered until well into 2016 at all places I usually buy wormer. I don't want to use Zimectrin Gold, I've heard too many bad stories about it. Anyone in the business know what's up with Equimax?

You might get lucky and find some at a local feed store. Various blogs report there is a shortage of ingredient(s) for Equimax.

I gave up and ordered Quest Plus, with some misgivings.
