Tired of only getting 1/2 season out of the ones I end up buying.
Are there ANY out there that don't fall apart after 2 months?
Best Fly Boots?
Re: Best Fly Boots?
I have a retired gelding in pasture who suffers from sweet itch. I have found these boots to be the best on the market for longevity, lack of rubs, and for not falling down around the fetlocks. Unfortunately, they sell out by this time of year. In the winter, when there's a sale, I stock up for the next year.

Re: Best Fly Boots?
I recently bought some Shoo Fly leggings. I don't anticipate they will last much more than the fly season but she seems a lot more comfortable and her feet are looking better with less chipping...or worse. Last month she ripped off the whole toe area on the right front. I doubt she did it stomping flies but the stomping doesn't help with hoof integrity. I will probably get another set for next year. I had a hard time finding any in July...most sold out. I had to go to a small which is working due to her fine legs.
