License plate on trailer

This is a very silly question..but what is the best way to get a license plate on a trailer when there isn't an existing bracket for one?

There are several after market bracket options, but depending on your state laws, you may be required to have a light too. I’d take it to a horse trailer dealer/mechanic or a an rv place. Both should be able to help you retrofit it without looking too janky or screwing up the wiring.
