My lesson today

I take a lesson on the horse I work from a gold medalist once or twice a month. This horse knows all of second and is training third.

We were doing travers and SI in trot. Then she tells me to come across the diagonal in travers. I said, Oh you mean HP.

A second or two passed and she said "sort of".

You had to share that, didn't you!

I have no great expertise in this, but with some horses (and in some directions), I think more travers on a diagonal. In others, I just half pass. I am curious who you work with---if you are willing to share! (pm is fine)
