Riding with 2 dressage whips

Miss A. was lacking motivation and bend yesterday due to my hand position. My instructor had me carry 2 whips, mainly to keep my hands in the correct position, maintaining the whips on my thighs. Occasionally I would have to tickle her to remind her to step under with her inside leg. Carrying the whips really helped settle my hands. Hopefully my body will figure out its new position.

you can also hold one whip horizontally, laying across the top of you hands under the thumb.
