Very interesting indeed.
I wouldn't consider any of that to be "automated" judging though. The technologies he's discussing would enable "augmented" judging; where the technology and the data would be used to augment judges' decisions rather than replace it outright.
The devil with any AI is in the details though. AI models need to be trained with a comprehensive data set to know what "good" looks like across all the parameters its observing. Bias is an enormous problem in implementing any AI model, and I would be concerned that the data set used for training this would be inherently biased toward big movers and other things that are currently being rewarded at the top levels. I wonder how they dealt with those challenges in the gymnastics model.

I would say this is very cool, but maybe better used in lameness tests, and teaching areas vs showing....
