1. My horse is really quite trained and a pleasure to ride (for me).
2. We have a decent walk, after years of training and work outside the ring! (we started out as an Iberian prancer without a very pure walk)
3. We are much better at smoothly adjusting neck/stride in walk than we used to be.
4. It takes some concentration to not do more in the walk beyond fundamental straightness and bend on giant circles or straight lines. Emi's eagerness to do more doesn't help, either.
5. Emi can count minutes. Each week, she learns a new count for her PT!

I'm glad she is being a good girl and taking her PT seriously!
Re: Things you learn doing tack walking
Can I ask what is tack walking? Riding at the walk in a saddle?
But good that Emi is being good

Yes, tack walking = walking in a saddle with rider. For many situations, it is safer to tack walk a horse than to hand walk them during rehab (because you have more control).
I am very grateful for Emi's good behavior. I know that is not necessarily something to count on---especially during blustery winter days!
